报告摘要:

In this talk, I present a non-perturbative light-front Hamiltonian approach to investigate the scattering and gluon emission of dressed quark states propagating through an SU(3) colored medium field. In the context of deep inelastic scattering and heavy ion collision scenarios, we consider a quark originating far outside the medium, dressed by intrinsic gluons before entry. We solve the wavefunction of the dressed quark state by diagonalizing the QCD Hamiltonian in vacuum in a Fock space, with implementing the sector-dependent mass renormalization scheme. We then numerically simulate the real-time evolution of this dressed quark state at various medium densities, examining key observables such as jet momentum broadening, cross section, and gluon emission rates. This study provides a systematic, non-perturbative framework for analyzing in-medium jet evolution.


报告人简介:

Meijian Li graduated from Wuhan University in 2013. She obtained her Ph.D. in nuclear physics in 2019 from Iowa State University. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. She is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto Galego de Física de Altas Enerxías (IGFAE) of the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She is interested in tackling QCD problems using non-perturbative light-front Hamiltonian approaches, with implementing high-performance computing and quantum computing techniques, particularly in jet evolution, hadron structures, and gluon saturation effects.
